It started with a telescope in my backyard.

My name is Karl Perera, and for as long as I can remember, I've been obsessed with the night sky. What began as a hobby quickly grew into a passion: spending countless hours under the stars, pointing my camera and telescope into the deep darkness, and waiting as the photos were taken.

Every image you see on this site is real. It's the result of patience, freezing nights, and a drive to capture a piece of our incredible universe. These aren't generic graphics pulled from the internet. That's the Wizard Nebula as my camera saw it. That's the Andromeda Galaxy, captured from my own setup. Each photo is a real moment, a real journey of light from millions of light years away that ended up on my camera sensor.

I created Astroimagery because I wanted to take these cosmic views out of the frame and put them into your daily life. Your phone is always with you, so why not make it a window to the Universe?
